On the 29th of January the whole Eurompm team visited the Ericsson headquarters in Dusseldorf. We were invited by Dr. André Dechange, who is the Business Manager at Ericsson, to discuss project controlling issues and get a better understanding of how all those methods can be applied in business life. The visit included presentations on Earned Value analysis and we discussed the implementation of that method in conjuction with the PROPS project methodology developed by Ericsson. Ericsson is one of the first companies worldwide that applied and created project management standarts.The visit gave us a better understanding of the impact project management can have on the success of a company.
